Most Flotillas (1st, 2nd and 7th) do move to France between June-November 1940.

You can resupply in Brest, Lorient and St, Nazaire the moment they turn blue, but you will not get the benefits of home port until you are officialy transfered.

don't recall the current date, but i tried a transfer and got sent to Kiel from Wilhelmshaven:nope: . needless to say i restarted from an entering port save

I got transferred from Wilhelmshaven to Brest at the start of my current patrol, by a radio message from BdU; only when I check my map, intending to head to my new home, Brest is nowhere to be seen? Closeby Lorient is there, but not Brest.

Should I go back to Wilhelmshaven prior to transfer?

Aug-40, 1st flotilla. Running stock SH3.

Either that or teleport and let the game start you off from the correct port :arrgh!:

Ok, thanks.

Every time I loaded up the game, a new message appeared saying I had transferred to Brest, still no port in sight there; I was returning from a grid west of Britain.

I returned by the northern route to W. and the very next patrol is now a straight ferry mission to Brest, which has now appeared on the map.

I think I'll take the channel route, nice sights, though I hear the cliffs of Dover has worn down a bit.
