Mariana Island Patrol question
 

Hey all,i have a few problems/questions. I remember in SH3 how patroling you could sit around for 24 hours then complete it,but I do not know how to complete the patrol around the Mariana Islands? I've waited 24 hours,I went around the whole island, i've blown up some merchants,and cruisers,but nothing... Anybody know the way to complete the objective? Thanks!

It's probably barried deep, but it's been asked B4, Hang around the marker, ~50 or so miles, till it turns grayish. If you report in after you complete the missions it'll give you another....

hmm,what do you mean by it turns grey? The binoculars that show inside the yellow/orange thing are like south west of the island,and ive been next to it,and all around the island itself.thanks

Depends on what mod you are or are not using. If you are playing stock then stay within 50 miles of the binoculars for 48 hours. If they don't turn grey (from orange) then zoom you map screen out all the way and then back in and you should be good to go. In some cases you may have to sink 10,000 merchant tons as well.
