REFUELLING and GWX 1.04

a question for the developers of gwx 1.04.

will it be possible to continue through with original patrol after refuelling, or will it be lost.

it would be great to carry on especially if it's been a good'un.

I'm afraid this cannot be done. It's hardcoded in SH3

Keep a note of your original patrol grid and carry on there at the commencement of your next patrol. Your newly assigned patrol grid after refuelling from a milchcow should be 'Null' anyway :up:

If you try out SH3commander you can "reset" your grid to what ever you like.

You can get SH3commander from jscones website: http://www.users.on.net/%7Ejscones/s.../products.html

True but even if you do reset it the game will still consider it as NULL. If you check the orders Screen in game after resetting the grid via SH3Cmdr you will see that it is set as NULL.

As I said before it is hardcoded and there is no way around it :down:

After refueling restart your voyage let it say null then save and exit.
Then open My Documents\SH3\Data\cfg\careers\(your current career name)\patrols_0.cfg

Scroll down to near the end where the last mission recorded is...it will look like
[PATROL 023]
PatrolNumber=0
StartYear=1943
StartMonth=10
StartDay=17
StartHour=16
StartMin=21
EndYear=0
EndMonth=0
EndDay=0
EndHour=0
EndMin=0
RealYear=2007
RealMonth=11
RealDay=24
RealHour=18
RealMin=4
StartLocation=753
EndLocation=753
SubType=2
SubVersion=3
SubName=U-181
PatrolArea=NULL

Change Null to your last orders patrol grid hit save and exit. When you restart your game the new patrol grid will be reflected in all aspects of the game.

so that list of numbers is way beyond me - i see that it's possible though !
