Response from SoF regarding the no "Save" option mid mission

I've just gotten a return response from some german guy who works for the company that owns SoF and he said that NO patch was coming for SoF regarding the no "Save" option.

However, he did mention a "part 2" of this game.

I returned his email to me in regards to just what "part 2" could be.
An Add-on, Expansion? Don't know.

Sounds intruiging, maybe its something as simple as the Russian boats getting added to the standard versions and vice-versa if you have the Russian version.

Guess we'll have to keep a lookout on the bridge.

I'm curious, too, as to what "Part 2" might be. A "Destroyer Command"-like expansion would be fun. Hunting u-boats without sonar or hydrophones... Or perhaps multi-player of some sort.

All of that would be cool but I'd love some of the rudimentary features - like the save system, or the camera system, or the damage system in the game, to be corrected first.

I do hope there's a possibility of new content coming! Assuming the modeling of the subs isn't terribly complex in this game, there's no reason we can't have those Russian subs and more! Plenty to be added sub-wise if the devs so desire. :hmm:

Part 2 may be the Med, if it isn't there yet. I've just started playing.

Dear Santa, Please send me a Save Game Patch
 

SOF is a game that has great potential for Mods.....but please Dear Santa...it needs to start with a mid-mission Save Game patch before I ever leave dock again.:cry:
