User-controlled searchlight possible?
A quick question for experienced modders - is it possible to install a user-controlled (working) searchlight on the boat's conning tower? I'm thinking of something that would preferably be plugged in on a pedestal mount in addition to the flak and deck gun. If not, one that would replace a single flak position or the deck gun. It'd be useful for conducting early-war inspections of lone merchants at night - I just had an encounter with a coastal tanker about 200km out of Wilhelmshaven. Turned out to be Dutch-flagged, and I only spotted this about three hundred metres off her port quarter.

Not a modder here, mate. But my guess is "No"!
:shifty: That was discussed a years ago IIRC!:hmm: With the same result! |

Anvart, do you think it is possible, to built a rocket launcher Hedge Hog on the sub, or is it also hard coded? |

These are absolutely different situations ... In an interior there are all (objects and controllers) to make additional "light sources" ... But to make controllable searchlight on human sub - it's fantasia ... |
