SH 3 Commander ship names
 

Guys I'm getting back into the game and I'd like to know(i forgot) where Commander stores the names it assigns to the ships you just sunk.

I'm using Panthercules' method of editing the ingame ship log (K key)
and there is a way of finding out the names of ships that you sunk as the game proceeds, before you exit at completion of the mission.

Just one more little thing in a long line of forgotten snippets of information.

C:\Program Files\SH3 Commander\Cfg

ship names cfg

You can open in notepad and pick a name anytime you like :up:

BBW, Thanks, but it appears this is the database where Commander has stored the names of all ships it can pull from. I'm looking for the "SH3 Commander CAPTAINS LOG which keeps track of the ships you just sunk. I'm sure there used to be a way to get this but I just plain forgot.

where x is patrol number


Used names:
[documents\sh3]\cfg\Careers\[career name]\Used ship names.txt
