Every time I hit the surface I receive "no oxygen/100% CO2" message.
But it is a lot less annoying than your problem...

Have you installed patch 1.3?

Is your electric engines room fully staffed?

Sorry if that's no help, but it's all I could think of.

Thought experiment

OK, play the sitar music. First, check what klh said. Nobody in the electrical engine room means your sub goes zero mph when it submerges. Oh, it's not that?

If it were your computer doing strange stuff you'd know exactly what to do: reboot. Try the same thing with SH4. It only takes about five minutes.

First, uninstall all your mods with JSGME. Move the mods directory to your desktop temporarily for safekeeping.

Then using add/install programs from your control panel you can either repair or uninstall SH4. I chose not to take any chances and uninstalled completely. When you do that, you get the option to keep your save game information. Choose that of course.

Now reinstall SH4 from the CD if you have chosen the total reinstallation method. Then install patch 1.3. You don't have to bother with any earlier patches first. Then reinstall JSGME from the SUBSIM website.

Run JSGME once to make a new mods directory, then recopy your temp mods directory from your desktop on top of the new empty mods directory. Reinstall all the mods you use.

You're done. You can resume your last save game as if nothing had ever happened. I bet it solves your problem. If not, the problem is somewhere in your mods. Uninstall, delete and redownload mods as necessary until the problem is fixed.

NOW you're done and your game works right. Guaranteed or double my fee back.:sunny: Man, that sitar music is irritating!
