Bird Flu yet again

With all the Bird Flu along with Foot and Mouth and not forgetting Blue Tongue now in the UK is it about time we paid off the animal farmers and culled all the farm animals and called it a day?

You can add into that the giant supermarket chains that are screwing over the farmers and cutting their margin to the bone. Being a farmer has to be one of the most toughest jobs. If anyone deserves tax relief and government assistance then it would be the farming community. :yep:

Exactly, the same in Germany. Consumer'S behavior in the supermarket is what has caused a ruinous price competition, farmers vulnerably sitting at the receiving end of it. quality has it's lightly higher price. Many customers do not understand that. I make that experience every day i work in a storehouse:
"Why does this toaster for 20 euros have a better regulator and does not become as hot outside as this toaster that I have boiught yesterday for 5 euros?"
"That thing for 15 euros looks so much better than this one for 8 euros, how's that?"
"It costs only the half, but doesn't it look a little bit cheap by design?

:dead: Shove it.

Rule number one when working in a warehouse or a store: "Customers are idiots. Treat them accordingly."
