This all started after installing ROW's up-dated Vs, inport

Do you have ROW Textures vs 2 installed and running? During testing we found out that needed to be activated to handle this issue.

Mikie has that too!

D'ya mean we have to have ROW Textures vs 2 enabled along with either the ROW textures with or without sun glare?

I thought the two new texture files (choose one) replaced the Textures vs 2 file.

It is a nice effect, though. I call it the "Lucy in the skies with diamonds" enhancement...

ROW Textures: This is the Heart of the ROW Mod. Can be added to game any time without problems. You have a choice one with the sun halo having a camera flair and one without the camera flair. Can only use one texture pack at a time.
New fire, oil slik, Sky, Ocean, lightning, Color's, Land, Sun halo, moon halo and a lot more.

But we do think This may be the cause,more too troubleshoot

Install the ROW Texture vs 2 and see if this corrects the problem. I believe we found this to be the issue concerning the strange star renderings.

Star renderings still go hay-wire w/Ctrl_N

ctrl N is not supose to be used in game
 

That my good man is a DEV control to see and test change effects and not a true in game control and can screw up the rendering of in game objects and effects. FooFighter found this out for me as he was using it to test things and every single time it caused strainge effects.

As soon as he stoped using it all problems stoped. DO NOT USE CTRL+N

And Donut I have to ask and trying to put this in a way without offending you but why do you refer to you as WE? You and the sub crew maybe? I thought that died with the old Queen's of England.

I and the team are using the new texture's from ROW
 

There are no screwed up star's no bad fire and oil slik effect's or anything else along that line.

2 of us have ATI card's and 2 of us have NVIDIA card's.

Just that the ATI card users can not use and or see the sun halo effect's no matter what we have tryed.

Ctrl+N,was AVG's fix for JellO water
 

So how do I,I,I. Reset my,my,game:p Vets.:sunny:

the game's rendering engine catches up when it refreshes
 

And that fix's the jello water effect if you forget the PAUSE the game before comming out of Time Compression when you are in the NAV MAP view.

As to resetting the texture problem do a save and reload and it should solve the problem. If not then you have to exit the game and restart from your save and all will be well except your crew being tired and not working right of course.

Yes, that does takes care of the diamonds.

But if you don't hit Cntrl-N will it always be sunny skies?

To answer myself, No.
