N.Y. governor wavers on driver's licenses for illegal immigrants

I thought this was one of the stupidest ideas yet... until I read the "catch" phrase:

"He said giving driving credentials to people now "living in the shadows" would make traffic safer, shrink auto insurance premiums by insuring more drivers and boost security by identifying more immigrants."

Ok, makes sense now?!:nope: Let's create more revenue for the INSURANCE COMPANIES! "Shrink auto insurance premiums"? I doubt it...
