Can you promote a jnr sailor to a senior sailor rank. Also can you promote your pety officers to Officer ranks. BEcause i cant do it in SH3 Commander. even though the have enough xp

Unfortunately, though you can promote within the category (sailor rank to sailor rank, Petty officer to the next higher petty officer, and officer to the next officer rank) you cannot promote a petty officer to an officer.

For example, once a petty officer reaches the maximum petty officer rank, he cannot be promoted farther.

The game doesn't allow it.

Not really. From a game design standpoint... you can't spend all your time and money attempting to simulate everything.

Besides, that would be called "real life." :arrgh!:

It takes a pretty large amount of time to get a Petty Officer to max rank anyway, your Real Officers should be highly experienced and skilled by that time.

A new "Green" Officer woulden help at all.
