Square Flames

All flames appear square with TM and Row. I unloaded and reloaded both mods to no avail. Anyone know what the answer is? I read about this problem in the other forum but didnt see a definitive solution. Thanks.

There is a fix for this, it should be near the end of the Trigger Thread, I will have a look.

the problem is you missing the fire and oil slik file's

From the ROW mod. You have the right particles and materials file's but missing the textures.

Can you do me a favor and post a screen shot of your JSGME install order so I can track down the problem that very few have had.

Thanks, I installed that mod but it didn't help--still have square flames. :shifty:

Leo, I don't know how to do what you ask. I will see if I can figure it out tomorrow--am busy tonight. Thanks.

Open JSGME, press printscreen, then paste into mspaint. Trim it down to just show the active mods tab, then save as a JPG and post it.

All I can say is I removed ROW Textures vs 2 and the square flames appeared. Do you have the this file activated in the mod enabler?

I followed Leo's advice and installed the ROW Textures v2 AFTER TM in JSGME and I don't have any square flames. :up: Here is my JSGME layout;

I'm just running tokyo maru, with no other mods that affect those files, and have the square texture bug.

leovampire 11-01-07 11:16 PM

Triger maru from Ducimus is most of the cause for the fire problems

He included the Particles and Materials file's from ROW but didn't add the fire and oil slik textures as well that are needed to accompany them.

So after T.M. is installed you need to then install the ROW Texture file.

My JSGME in order is:

REL TM GFX Pak 22
REL TM 1-6-4
ROW Textures Vs 2
ROW LIght Zones Special Effects Vs 2
Row Sound Effects Vs 1
People With Fire and Oil Problems

From somewhere I got a Firetexture zipped file with 2 firetexture files in it. Should I use them somewhere?

Wilcke 11-02-07 11:20 AM

Don't you just love that JSGME can take a quick picture of your load order and put it into a Notepad file! Awesome! Then just cut and paste into the forum!

Love it!

Mechman

check out the install in my post above, nevermind all the extraneous stuff. Just look at the initial Trigger Maru and ROW features works well, tested it in single mission runs great!

You can try the other mods too, they are pretty interesting.
