Question about the cameras.dat

I have a question with the data\library\cameras.dat file...
I know from some mods that this file manages the zoom levels of periscopes and binocular and UZO etc.
I want to tweak it to my taste, but knowing nothing with HEX editting.
Would someone help me?

Well, you would need SH3 Minitweaker...utility with translated files that would enable You to change parameters.
Try to search/find download link... Somebody?

Just a brief question, Racerboy, before thread owner continues:
Do you know, possibly, how can we:
lower the initial view-angle in a submarine follow-external view ( "," and "." keys introduced by 1.04 patch long time ago... )

That high-point view angle would "eye candy" if lowered closer to sea surface...

Any clue...?

I'm not quite following what you're asking. Please PM me with screenies if you could.
