Mod tools?
Did a search for this, zillion unrelated hits. Closest I found, in this thread:
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=109854 The link that's supposed to lead to the tools has a number of mods instead. Specifically I'm looking for a .zon editor, already have a standard hex editor. Is there an all in one package for modding SH 4? Off topic, does this place have a file library? I'm finding a lot of broken and outdated links, phishing sites, and "YOUR COMPUTER MAY HAVE SPYWARE, DOWNLOAD OUR FREE ANTI SPYWARE TOOL NOW" garbage. |
See my sig ;)

Thanks, that's what I was looking for. Alzheimers, I keep forgetting that sometimes underlined text is not merely for emphasis, it's a link. I gather they don't actually have a file library here, you just need to hunt for mods in the threads.

This tool, and most of the other tools are all mentioned in one of the stickies!

Stuck in the Stickies
Hee-hee, yeah, that was my problem, trying to navigate thru all that. Your gizmo seems to do most of what I want to do (reduce radius of depth charges so I don't get sunk by one 8000 yards away, etc.), but as near as I can tell it don't convert graphics? Found another link for that, to an Nvidia DOS based converter. I'm an old DOS dinosaur myself, but the one thing I like about Windows is I don't get all the $YnT@X 3rr0r$ I used to get with my hunt 'n hammer typing style. :damn:
Better program for converting DDS to TGA, BMP, or whatever is convim: http://fly.to/mwgfx/ Visual basic interface, lot easier to use. :sunny: |

It's stickied right up at the top of the list where it should be extremely easy to find. |
