raiokennen wins formula one GP and the championship!!!! agaisnt all odds !!:rock::rock::rock::rock::rock:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/moto...ne/7055204.stm

1. K Raikkonen (Ferrari)
2. F Massa (Ferrari)
3. F Alonso (McLaren)
4. R Kubica (BMW Sauber)
5. N Rosberg (Williams)
Others:
7. L Hamilton (McLaren)

never liked hamilton....

Lap 71: Raikkonen cruises to title glory. What an effort from the Finn in the Ferrari. He wins at Interlagos and wins the championship.
Hamilton finishes second in the championship - a point behind the Finn.

Lap 68: Hamilton is 11 seconds behind Heidfeld. He needs something amazing.
Lap 67: Rosberg and Kubica enjoy a juicy battle, before Rosberg backs down. I think it's all over for Hamilton. Not a great week for British sport. Nevertheless, an outstanding effort by the young Briton over the whole season.

Kimi is the champion!!!!! Kimi rocks

I was rooting for Hamilton but it just wasn't to be, maybe next year, still a great effort for his rookie year.

I think Raikonen deserved it in the end even though I wish he would cheer up a bit, at least it wasn't Alonso

Yes it was best season for a long time, and a entertaining finale for it.:)
Next season is going to be interesting. Mika Häkkinen had said to the Finish media that its almost sure Fernando Alonso will leave Mercedes and Nico Rosberg will take his place. Alonso will most likely go back to Renault. I have big hopes for Kovalainen so pretty mixed feelings about that, maybe he should go to BMW and make me a very happy man.:D

After it has all ended Kimi one and glad for him. Given my rooting for Hamilton glad Kimi one and not Alonso.

Saying that Hamilton made an amazing drive after his engine went ga ga for a bit.

Well done Kimi
What a first time effort by Hamilton though

What an amazing race! It was a nail biter all the way through. I was on the edge of my seat for the most of it. I am glad to see Kimi win. He deserved it. I was originally hoping Alonso would take it but if not Alonso, I'm glad Kimi took the title. This is the best F1 race I have ever watched. I felt sorry for Massa the most, though. All he wanted was to win his home race.

IMHO after all the rubbish situation in McLaren, this was probably the most fair outcome possible.

Lewis & Alonso, neither of them deserved this year's title as neither played completely clean with the other. Dennis didn't help much and was too arrogant, he thought he could mantain well his policy of two 1st drivers of the past, neglecting that one of this year's drivers was a rookie, and it was finally a rookie error what made Lewis lose the title. How sad Ron must be now, and how stupid he must feel.

Kimi: What can be said about him? Probably the most talented and fastest of all, in his heydays nobody can come close, no matter if he drives a Ferrari or a McLaren. A well deserved champion, never involved in polemics and silent but quietly hammering his title with wins.

I have been a Kimi (And in general of finish drivers) fan since long, and I am very happy that his share of bad luck has ended. Also, I love to see that a driver with a somehow bad-guy attitude, a party goer and smoker makes raw talent suceed in an era of athletes and drivers nursened to be champions from the most early ages.

A wellcomed breath of fresh air into F1

CONGRATS CHAMPION

Sulikate 10-21-07 02:51 PM

Great job Kimi :arrgh!:
He really deserved to win this championship (after being second place twice :dead:)

XabbaRus 10-21-07 03:00 PM

Um I'd have to say that had Hamilton had won it he would have deserved it and he played more fair than Alonso. Didn't hear Hamilton go off to the press when he wasn't happy.

As for the Rookie error, yep trying to regain position on Alonso when he didn't have to was silly, but his engine would probably have still gone ga ga. It was that which did him in. See his drive back up the grid to see how it could have ended had his engine not gone ga ga.

Syaing that the day is done and Kimi won which I feel he did deserve to.

I'm glad Kimi won over Alonso, but what the heck does it take to make him crack a smile?

It'd have been good to see Hamilton win, but I think he was too eager to beat Alonso at the start. If he hadn't gone off the track he might have survived his engine troubles and won the championship.

Sixpack 10-21-07 03:08 PM

Really 3 jerkoffs these boys, but relatively glad Raikkonen won.

Hamilton: Personally dont need another Tiger woods type.

Alonso: Good thing this prima donna lost.

Anyway, when I want to watch F1 (not often), I play FIA season reviews 1967 until 1996 and 2000 (first Shumi). 90 minutes exactly packs all the 'action' of a whole F1 season. All else I consider a waste of time in this respect.

Should be:

4. N Rosberg (Williams)
5. R Kubica (BMW Sauber)
...

The race was great, but camera operators were on drugs or something:nope:
They were showing everything (and too much of Hamilton) except where the action was (most of great moments of this race were shown on replays:roll:).

Anyway im glad Ferrari won this season.

That must be it, he smiled last year in Interlagos.

Kimi Raikkonen tells the world of his waste depositing exercise during the presentations by Pele to Michael Schumacher.

But his attitude is very common in Finland, very reserved att all times except when we start to drink. Anyone remember when Räikkönen waved his penis in a strip bar?
