great idea here....is it possible to have the sub broken into two (or more) pieces to show that it didn't live through a depth charge attack? Or it possibly hit a mine?

I agree. Returning to port in 1945 and seeing all those subs wrecks (air attacks) could be interesting experience.

It might be possible by reworking a tga from the final damage mod :hmm:
