acoustic torpedo's

what would cause an acoustic torpedo to go into a ship, through the ship & out of the ship without causing any damage. This happens to me in SH3.

Dont know if uve tried this, but going to the torpedo data screen and setting your depth running guage to 1-2 metres. Maybe your torpedo is running under the target, this can happen if the ship is listing und pitching in heavy water

What was the ship ?
Mod ?

Sounds as if the damage model has become disassociated from the ship
Can happen with cloned units
