Ghost Ship
 

I'm on patrol, early 1945 in the Luzon Strait, an had a radar contact. After getting close enough to view it, it turned out to be a 17th - 18th century war gally. The ship has some sort of glow around it with a long flag swirling in the wind an color is kinda off blue. This ship is named "What is This" an travels at 24 mph. No tropedo or deck gun can damage it. I have 10 screen shots of it but no were to post them.

That would be the Flying Dutchman. You have to be carefull around that its said that anyone who is misfortanut to see it is about to be taken by Davy Jones. BTW its a ghost ship of course it cant be sunk.

and it will attack and kill any Jap ship that comes near it
 

I watched it at Periscope depth take out a DD once. I didn;t want to test and see if it would attack me.

I seen it several time, even surfaced an it did nothing to my boat, but watched a Jap Zero attack it an ignore me...
