Is there a mod or a config setting whereby I can take the radio message/speech text box (which ALWAYS appears at the top whenever I start or load a game) and have it permanently start;
a. locked in position wherever I want it (I prefer the bottom of the screen), and
b. already transparent.

It's just a bit of a pain to always start by grabbing that damn box, use the slider to make it more transparent then grab it and move it to the bottom of the screen, then 'lock' it in position.

Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

you'll find directions at http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...hlight=message on how to accomplish all except the locking part. I don't believe anyone has figured out how to get it to start out locked.
