How much do you modders make by using rapidshare by selling FREEWARE mods?

I know rapidshare has free DL for a certin amount DL's, but after someone uses their limit it's no longer FREE.

I know there's HACKS for rapidshare, but my question is, Does rapidshare give you any money if they collect from paypal or there other system?

Rapidshare do not denied your downloads, it only introduce a delay.
If you wait a certain time you can continue downloading files.

Your wrong !!!! I've been denied DL with a page that said, "You have reached your DL limit PLEASE use bla bla bla PAY PAL to continue DL". I know the hacks, but rapid share places limit on the DL unless you PAY for a premiun account! MY question still stands !!!!!

That is for them alone and has nothing to do with who ever set's up a download for their mod's.

Some places do make limit's to how much you can download in a 24 hour period to try and make you pay.

Judging from those exclamations, I'd say you should calm down when asking people for some help.

And as far as I can see, he is right. You should try to read the entire page more closely.

Rapidshare only makes you wait an annoying delay before you can make another download. It's to twist people's arm into paying for a 'non wait' account.

But it does not limit your permanent # of downloads. After a minute or sometimes two, you can download again.

And I'd say it's a bit more than rude to come in here yelling at modder's about taking your money through some backdoor means.

I stopped using rapidschite the instant it became a hassle to use it. If im really jones'ing for D/L mirror ill use it, but otherwise, no. And no, i didnt know money was involved with modficiations in any way, shape or form. So obviously i dont get any.

Upload problems have been worked out and TM and other large mod’s will be listed in the future. I also hope to catalog the radio mod’s soon.

Rapidshare blows. If it's the only source for a download, too bad, I move on...

Rapidshare sure is ****ty. However, there's not so many sites where you can upload and download for free, not to mention with a steady reasonably high bandwith. I, though my mods are on rapidshare, find it utterly annoying to wait 24 hours when you reach this download limit per day.

Here's what i suggest: Instead of shouting and yelling, spare your energy to go on the web and find whatever new or better websites exists that has the same purpose as rapidshare whilst having less limitations... This would spare the modders valuable time. Time they could use to create more ACTUALLY FREE (yes, they are :stare:) mods that allows you to play a far better SH4.

I find it utterly rude to accuse us, modders, to make money without any proofs while, on the contrary, we devotes lots of our time to give players a much better experience of their games, this, for free.

Now i understand you go crazy over rapidshare! but that's no way to talk to people...

I didn't accuse anyone! I was just wondering if rapidshare SHARE any of it's profits that it make off of other people property!

If I use the same IP address I will be cut off from DL an have to pay to continue. Never ounce was I given a notice that I have to wait, I just change my IP address an DL..... I'm on modem an don't have a fixed IP address like you cable users, I just hangup an redail an I get as new IP address.

but, even with all it's faults, FileFront has RapidShare beat all to H E double hickey sticks. I don't see any advantage to RapidShare at all. I don't know if there is any difference in dl speed on larger files, but the inconvenience of waiting for up to 24 hours (or getting a new ip address) and having to enter a code to download if you don't pay for the free service seems like it would eat up any bandwidth differences. Just my $0.02.
