[TEC]Conning Tower Refits and Other Career Events.
 

Does anybody know how career events such as conning tower refits, offers of new commands etc are controlled in SH4? Are they totally random or do certain criteria have to be completed to trigger these events?

It seems that some people have very rich career games where they recieve conning tower refits etc on a regular basis and others (me included) after many hours of play never encounter these events.

Is there a way to mod the files that control these events so that the likelyhood of them occuring is increased or perhaps so that the game automatically awards refits as soon as they become available?

as far as I know the Conning tower refit is automatic
 

And they give it to you for free in port but it is time related. Goes by the date of availability.

You will see the conning tower change shape in the equipment screen at port when this happens.
