Hardly...The list of hardware issues and software issues is staggering for a major release like this. I have colleagues in IT who won't touch Vista until M$ gets this RUDIMENTARY cr*p fixed...
It's one thing to coerce a single user into upgrading or buying a "Vista compatible" computer, and another to upgrade an entire network... Consider the cost of your single license and then multiply it times 100 or 1000! And don't forget the other software/hardware that needs to be purchased to work with Vista. I spent $102,000.00 out of a $250,000 budget on M$ software for 6 servers and 92 clients in my last job.
Imagine having to replace say 30 HP printers because there is no support for Vista...
Been there (20 years in IT Administration), done that from NT to XP Pro... (And M$ made the same claims about XP as they have for Vista, took over 3 years to get most of the bugs out of XP and even now there's yet ANOTHER HUGE service pack (210Mb))
From my perspective as a former IT Admin, Vista is a totally borked OS and it blows big time...
