Salute! Nautilus42,
Great work, your USS ships looks awsome! I will download them soon. One question......If I understand well your comments, these ships will replace the original ones in GWX and will appear in the campagne? Greetings |
Only the Nevada will
IF its named exactly the same as the GWX one The rest of the units wont show until added to the campaign |
Hey nautilus42/trainer1942!
Wonderful! Great work! Thanks! :D |
Late War Tennessee
Looking pretty good, except for one thing - the Tennessee class were not modernised in the same way as the Colorado class. The only large profile changes to the Maryland and Colorado were the lowering of the aft cage mast, as you have pictured, but the Tennessee class were modernized much more extensively, with their entire superstructure rebuilt along the lines of the South Dakota class. As such, they bore absolutely no resemblance to their early construction or to the modernised Colorado class. Also, the West Virginia of the Colorado class was modernised along these lines.
Your early and late war Colorados, as well as your early war Tennessee look absolutely fine, but I would rethink the late war Tennesse; some more reconstruction would probably improve it greatly. Here is a picture for comparison: http://warships.web4u.cz/usa/bb/img/rys-bb43.gif |

If the ship isnt either scripted on the SCR or added to a random group in the RND it wont show I dont think there are any entries for US BB that are generic - by that I mean the game is told just to pick a type=11 with no class name specified lol example [RndGroup 156.RndUnit 17] Type=11 <-----Battleship entry Origin=British <---Roster to get the battleship from Side=0 CargoExt=-1 CargoInt=-1 CfgDate=19390101 No=1 Escort=false SpawnProbability=50 CrewRating=2 [RndGroup 1512.RndUnit 3] Class=BBNelson < -----Class of ship to be chosen from the type= below Type=11 <-------- battleship called for Origin=British <----Roster to get the unit from Side=0 CargoExt=-1 CargoInt=-1 CfgDate=19390101 No=1 Escort=false SpawnProbability=100 CrewRating=2 The first example is a generic entry where any battleship in the British roster can be picked The second actually names the class the game has to show As I said I dont think there are any generic entries for US battleships as up until now has only been the NevadaA and Iowa And the Iowa was very limited in its Atlantic cruises |

Hi AG124, thx for your tipps /USS Tenneesse. Will see what i can do. UBI has shown a new way to link the mast - so why not do it in the same way with the complete bridge/superstrukture? I will experminet in that. Greetings rowi58 |
Is there any other link to download these ships?
