WideScreen

I have a chance to pick up another LCD, but this one is a Hanns.G 1440x900 native resolution, 2ms. My question is, since my option don't show this, does SH4 & 3 support WideScreen?

This game is not listed @ http://www.widescreengamingforum.com...Games_List_-_A

SH4 does indeed support widescreen.

SH3 however doesn't, so you wont have true widescreen, not sure if the image gets stretched or just zooms in though.

Thanks, I still have a 1280x1024 LCD to use on games that don't support it. One I like playing is an oldie called Red Baron 3d.
Thanks again...

Not only does SH4 support widescreen it'll support 1440x900 if your video card can handle it. Mine sadly will play a slideshow at that res, but 1280x800 is also a 16:10 so it'll play just fine.

I have a 22 inch widescreen and run SH4 in 1680x1050 resolution. I love it!! It takes more video card resources and drops the FPS, but it hasn't impacted gameplay for me. I have an Nvidia 8600 gt card with 256 mb of on board ram and 2 gb of system ram. To run everything maxed out I would need a second video card in SLI mode. SH3, however, is streched out a little. It's not THAT noticeable, and it's actually the lower resolution that bothers me more than the fact that it's a touch streched.

I'm just about to built a new system, AM2 with dual core, an I know what I'm getting will play it fine. Just don't know if I'm going ATI or NVIDIA.... Looking forward to the wide screen experiance :)

Thanks All!
