A Question about the moon

While on patrol last night i was gazing up at the moon and watching the reflection on the water (nice work with ROW mod guys). And i was wondering does SH4 model the phases of the moon historicaly. What i mean is on December 2nd 1942 there should be a full moon. And on March 3rd 1942 there should be a total lunar eclips. Does these things actually happen?

I believe it does, yes. I think Leo implemented solar/luner eclipe event if you lucky enough to witness one while in game.

The Dev's did this. But the size's of the sun and moon were far enough off so that they didn't happen properly.

But if you have a save game in the middle of a Lunar cycle it throughs off the cycle until the next time the moon rises.

I do not know why this happens but it does. If you do a save on a night of the full moon and come back to that save game the moon is no longer full.

So a compleat 24 hour cycle has to happen again for it to straighten out ususaly.
