[REL] Wolfehunter's U-Boat U516
 

Yes sailors I did it again. :D

This IXc Uboat had a successful history. Six patrols and 16 ships sunk. I like it and reworked the hull. The real surprise was under the waterline. If you see the orginal photos you just can make it out.

Too bad the real hull design isn't in SH3. Those photos are pretty neat.

So here is my interpretation of U516 I hope you like it.

I whitened the outer hull similar to the pics. But it is really a light grey almost steel like with weathering.

Beautiful work, and good job on finding an example. Good source material for camo patterns is had to find - or pick out from the older black-and-white photos.

I couldn't believe some of the waves were over 10 meters high. :huh: All I could see sometimes was a wall of water and them we were swimming in it.:doh:

This guys hit me on the surface with his deck gun.. Out of the fog he's pounding me. I hit him with a torpedo as he was going to ram me. We just missed each other before he started to sink. I had emergency back on but we were both going too fast. :oops: It was soo close.
