Is it possible to move the availability date for receiving this device up...say to january of 44'?

I noticed that this mod comes with its own Basic configuration file. Like many of us I too have a tweeked Basic file...in my case so I can use the XXI from january 44. Is it possible to get only the portion of the Basic configuration file that pertains to this unit and change the availability to January of 44'?

I've tried making changes to what I thought was the correct lines/dates in the provided Basic file, but nothing seems to work.

Another question, will the snorkle/antenna mod only work if you are in a career and arrive at the date that the Basic config files says it available?

Any and all help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
