Snap Shooting
I read somewhere that if you want to "snap shoot", you need to indicate the torpedo's path with the scope crosshairs, set target speed to "0" and fire away. The torpedo is supposed to follow the specified path until it runs out of propulsion. I would use this for a "vicinity shot" at multiple targets but without specifically targeting any.
I tried this yesterday. The torpedo made a nice circular run and slammed into my stern. Yes, we had flooding. Am I doing something wrong OR do you have to specifically target? Thanks! |
try this captain, there are three examples, and back up from rr

Tutorial added to WernerSobe's TDC/PK thread
Last night Werner gave me permission to post a tutorial on the Dick O'Kane technique in his stickied thread. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...6&postcount=67 Enjoy!:arrgh!:
Oh, the circular run was a bad torpedo, not anything you could have done. Had two of them in a row when I was testing out the new procedure. I haven't had one since. |
