How deep have you taken you Sub?
And lived to tell the tale?
I have been down to 190 using the salmon class. |
I've been down to about 350 meters before the bulkheads finally gave way... :dead:
Otherwise the max I went was about 30m below crush depth. |
All the way to the bottom :dead:
|
how do you know where crush depth is? My gage only goes to 165m
|
well didnt live but it went to 690 feet before the death spiral it was a gato:sunny:
Edit The XO? (the guy who calls out the depth) said we were at 690 feet |
In my Sargo early war class
The deepest I got before problems started was 350 ft and the creeks were loud enough to scare the hell out of me using a suround sound system with a subwoofer
|
790ft. And then made it back up to 155ft before the walls came crashing in.

165 meters is the deep gauge. The shallow one is ~30 meters iirc.
|
The deepest I ever made is 600ft, it was a few miles off of Singapour after a harbour recon. I'd seen a Heavy Cruiser n taken a pot shot at it whiles bugging out, afterwards i was chased by DDs and tried to make like a hole in the water, didnt work... Shattered the my aft fish bowl and the engine room so I ended up sinking down to the bottom and sat there until repairs we're finished. On the down side.. I ran out of oxygen at 100 ft and died of asphyxiation:damn: ..

615ish (feet) -the clothesline was on the floor
Then emergency blow full reverse. One can stay at deeper depths, but not for long ;) and def. not to be tried with any damage. |
I've only been down to 450ft how do you get deeper?

Do a Crashdive, once level-off begins, Press the D key. Having said this, your boat's Structural Integrity (aka hull that keeps the ocean out) remains the same. So it's upto the brave to 'dive test' :arrgh!: |

I can't take my boat down any deeper than the "D" automatically lets me, can't find any way to dive beyond this. It's usually 560-600ft (at least for my current Balao)
