Invisible maps, shadowy crewmen.....
 

I just got a new computer that can play SH4, its run fine so far, but I just randomly got some bizzare graphical errors such as landmasses being invisible in the map view and my crewmen being covered by black "blotches" in the command room while submerged. The blotches thing happened only once, but I can't fix the map thing.... anyone know what to do....it worked fine yesterday.:nope:

My graphics card is GeForce 8600, and 2GB ram

Ill ask the obvious first. Have you installed the latest drivers for that video card ? I dont care if your machine is brand new straight out of the box... get the latest dirvers.

This wouldent be a laptop would it ?

DiractX, latest drivers, make sure you don't overclock.
