Stationary Task Force
 

Hey again,

Latlely around here i have heard stories of a stationary task force. Moving tfs, i have found are to hard to intercept so can anyone tell me the whereabouts of this task force? Around what date? Any help would be appreciated and i thankyou in advance.

It consists of a cruiser and about 3 troop ships around...Kristiansund I think.



..... oh, and a handfull of destroyers too.

Got up to Norway during 1940 and it's in a fijord near Kristiansund.

Be careful, very shallow waters!

Received a contact report about a task force in that area yesterday. Their reported speed was 0 knots. Oh, and it was around the 10th of May 1940.

You can almost always count on the Luftwaffe to show up and steal your renown as well.:damn:

Ha! I forgot about that. I was sneaking in all nice and silent, then suddenly all hell breaks loose. Ships start moving, the cruiser starts blasting and there were explosions all around. I almost panicked, until I realised it was an air raid.

Fortunately for me, they only managed to soften up a couple of targets, and left me to finish them off.

The only thing that browned me off was when the cruiser kept surging from 0 knots to "warp 5" in seconds, then back to 0 knots again, avoiding alot of my eels.:nope:
