[REQ] radar warning/hydrophone contact lines

hi there!
im not sure if something like that is alreday avail or not. thing is, im playing with mapupdates on, since i kinda dont like all the plotting things. the problem with this is though, that when u have these lines enabled, showing the direction or the hydrophone/radar warning contacts, it is imho way to precise . they are showing the exact distance to the taget, which is especialy dodgy for the radar warning reciever contacts. it is easily possible to shaddow a convoy from large distances, with only the radar warning lines.
according to what i have read about this topic, these devices where rather crude in many ways. especialy the early sets, had only a simple "strength of singnal" function.
i realy would like to use a set of lines, which only gives the direction of the contact for the radar warning device, and possibly the same for hydophone contacts. im not sure how precise the sound gear was, when it comes to meassureing distance.

I don't know if it's possible to change the way those detailed lines are drawn on your map.
But suppose it's not possible, then you may want to zoom out untill all the contact-lines of a convoy merge into 1 single line.
This line is allot less accurate.

It is possible, it's a TGA. I don't remember the exact name but if you find it and make it dashed instead of solid you add inaccuracy to it. The bigger the spacing between the dashes the more inaccurate the contact line endpoint.
