Quick GW question
I just installed GW and noticed the VIIC/41 and VIIC/42 have the same range and uniform stats of the stock VIIC. I haven't played SHIII in about a year but I'm pretty sure this isn't the case in the vanilla game.
I tried the manual but couldn't find much on sub changes in GW, forgive my lazyness but can someone point me in the right direction? How are subs different in GW from the vanilla game? Thanks |
GW or GWX ?
|
GWX sorry, version 1.3 :)
If there is a full list of sub specific changes (like VIIC compared to VIIC/41 and /42) then I'd love to see it |
Well the VIIC/41+42 are cloned VIIC boats. However, In real life the VIIC and VIIC/41 did have the same range.
The planned VIIC/42 was to have much greater range and diving depth than its predecessors but never was built to allow the XXI to be the main focus. I do believe that SH3 commander does alter certain things when playing in the C/41 or 42 that being their diving depth because in ever other aspect the boats are identical. Then key difference with the boats is their handling. GWX u-boats dont plow through the water like juggernauts. They actually react and roll much better than a stock U-boat. As far as diving depths and range... Im not sure somebody else would have to answer that questuon. |
And Penelope did not clobber you for calling SH3 (non modded) Vanilla. You're lucky :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

There is a mod however wich makes the VIIC/41 a lot better CobaltsVIIC/41 and in SH3commander they numbers are changed a bit also.
