help. i need to find merchants ships to complete this patrol. i can't find any. Where can i go to find them?

You won't if you are running the stock game, apparently the japanese never went there or the marshalls ;)

Might as well go elsewhere, you'll not see a thing.

If you are using TM 1.6.x there is a Tanker hiding in the center of Kwajalein atoll - shhhhhhh ;)

* and yes, the [TM 1.6.x] Marshall's/Gilbert patrols in 1941/42 are sparce for shipping, thou the IJN DD, DE and Minesweeper do make their pesky rounds.
