I'm new to SH3
Well like I said i'm new to SH3 and was wondering what mod's should I be getting. I've heard alot about GWX in the SH4 forums so i thought I would ask you guy.

Well GWX is certainly a good bit of kit to utilise has a mass of content and graphical improvements, not to mention a more formidable instead of your usual dumb as a bag of spanners enemy AI. However if you are new to SH3 as in brand new never touched it before... if I were you I'd play a little ordinary SH3 without any mods first BEFORE putting in any of the big Supermods.

I am also very new (6 weeks) at this game.
My suggestion is to go to the GWX download site & download and read through the GWX manual. This is the most well done manual I have ever run across. It has a wealth of background Sub/WWII information that will help in your thinking as to why & how the game is played. I had to read it through twice before things started to make sense, but it was well worth it. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...ht=differences This game has a very big learning curve (for me it's double that) so the more that you know about the history etc the better Enjoy... |

GWX that's all you need mate :yep:
|
I would start with just the basic version of SH3, for a few weeks at least, just so you get used to the game. Then when your ready, install GWX or any of the other supermods (i.e NYGM).
Personally i'd recommened GWX:up: |
