Time Compression Question

I was just wondering if anyone knows for sure if time compression effects will change the other ships travel times different from yours.

For instance; I hear a ship on a bearing & it is very faint so is most likely 20 + kilometers away. I use a time compression of 128 for an hour of game time (fast forward from 1900 to 2000hrs.
Will this fast forwarding of time cause the target ship to be erratic in its direction and or time of movement causing it to be in a different position then it would have been if I had let it go its real time positioning?

Guessing doesn't count.

No.

Of course, during your period of time compression, the ship may change course, but if so, it would have with or without time compression.

Your speeding up the game for anything within your game rendering area.
Once your in contact with a ship you should never tc too much.....I've seen many an unexpected career killer due to collision or gunfire etc.

Actually, the way I have been doing it after contact is to play out the whole scenario at normal speed. Just a couple of times I have been time limited so I did a TC for no more then 15-20 minutes on the game clock.
Once I even chased a coastal merchant in rain, wind, fog (against my better judjment) right into a fjord (?) & finely caught up with him in 300m visibility & sunk him. That took me over 2 hours actual time.
Once I got in the canyon I think I was getting bad signals because I started going in circles chasing the guy.. I finely figured out that that couldn't be right. he had to be ahead of me because our speeds were almost the same.
Living & learning..lol...

yea once i get a contact I tend to use real time and no time compression - its takes little longer but well worth it.
