Unknown contacts on sonar

On occasion, I sit in the sonar room looking for contacts and noticed sometimes Unknown, a uso but my question is shouldn't the sonar guy pick this and state "Unknown contact bearing 1234 or something. I mean I am sure they did the same thing in real time, correct so shouldn't they do that in the sim. Thats what I think.

Another thing is a start date. I think the patrol log should start out with a start date. I do not remember when I left patrol. Does anyone agree?

>>There are several crew responces, that would make the crew more helpful. The files are in the game, the game is still unfinshed,& may stay that way.The files are not linked to nodes,to make them audio,or text.A skilled modder,& node connecter wanted.

Seems Sonar Man,has Range limits?

I recall patrol start date in log book,in office.

Yes, you can hear sonar contacts before your sonarman does. He eventually gets them when they get closer.

You can even hear contacts from further away even if it doesnt show up on the little page thingy. Whilst turning the page, look at the green light on the mashine, if it lights up, you have something REALLy far away..

well thats my bit..

Krauter
