Stuck in January 1945 TM 1.6
 

Has this been reported before? I depart Jan 30, 1945 and return sometime in March. However, when I start my next patrol it has me departing Jan 30 again--even though the date at the top of the orders is the correct March date.
I've departed on Jan 30 and returned in March three times so far.

Yes, Brisbane. However, I tried xfering to Freemantle with same result--stuck in 1/30/45. Thanks.

I think Duci saying,transfer chit time. Brisbane's stuck in a loop.Just saw your post oh sugar ! Try deleting unnecessary saves,& defrag. I think sometimes the large saves splinter files,corrupting same.

I had a gut feeling i should have taken that start date out of 45. The flotilla dispands in 2/45 or a bit later. I put the start date in there just for the sake of being thourogh. The game doesnt do transfers right. I ran into this problem with creating the new construction and found myself in a loop like the one your in.

Transering from brisbane probably wont help because the game decides dates and times AS you end your previous patrol. IE, if you saved before you acutaly dock, you could try and get a different mission by reloading said save, and dock again. Takes awhile, but thats when where/when is decided. If you transfer, this data is still written into your career file, and wont change until you dock again - this is when the game acutallly reads the flotilla assigment file.

So other then that, I have no answer except to try donut's suggestion or just start a career in fremantle and see if it still happens.

You could also go in the flotilla.upc file and extend the flotillas lifetime to end of war. The assigments will support it.
