Favorite patrol grid?

Hello, I've been playing for about 5 months now and nearly all of my sorties have been in the n. Atlantic near BF15 and between Rockall and Ireland. This patrol I'm in now is west of Gibraltar, but I havent made it past Vigo yet.
I was wondering if you have a favorite patrol grid, or do you go the the grid that is randomly given to you?
Oh yeah, if you do have a favorite grid, why? (naval traffic? tankers? etc.)

i got a few favorite places.

category:
1. harbours: love the shallow deapths and the element of suprise to cripple the enemy :arrgh!:

2. the channal exit near Lorient: love to intercept convoy's there

3. not known yet: .......

Think AM68 ranks right up there, because of the convoy routes........oftentimes when submerged i have i can pick up the propellers of 2 different convoys. :)

Have a nice day :)

Kind of like the BF grids myself. lots of activity with single merchants and convoys, .......Good hunting

BF 39 (I think) juicy tanker traffic. :ping:

AM 52-54 - lots of convoys heading to Liverpool.

BE39 is usually sweet. But search this forum for "happy hunting grounds" and "tanker alley" for some excellent threads with lots of intel.

Or Operation Spinnenetz

I go wherever BdU sends us. I have no favourite grid.

Just lie 100/200km west of Gib and watch the convoys coming and going :arrgh!:

Entry into the Irish Sea for me. Always seems busy, but I've been hunting there since release.
