Zones.cfg

I am trying to mod the Zones.cfg for the sinking mechanics. Here are some questions that i have encountered, and hope someone to help me.:)

Code:

[NSKeel]
Category=Keel
Multiplier=5.0
Flotability=19.0
HitPoints=250
Destructible=No
Armor Level=20
Critic Flotation=0.99
Critical=Yes
Critical Chance=1.0
FloodingTime=130
CargoType=None

What is meant by Multiplier, Flotability?

Moreover, after my modding, i can see a small tanker stay unsunk even the whole aft part of the ship is under water..... Can anyone explain?

I've also changed this file since running GWX and have pretty much returned most of the values in the file back to the values of what they were in vanilla SHIII. I can't honestly say i understand the ideas behind it all but it works for me.

It now allows me to sink ships with about the same amount of torpedos or deckgun shells as in the vanilla version of the game and i can't say i've had any problem with the result.

I still have ships which take a little while to sink which i think is down to modifications done per ship in the files found in SHIII\Data\Sea. But changing those back is a little more tricky because during some tests i did i found references to the GWX ship spec to still be in the game.

It's not exactly an answer to your question but it may help you in altering this file.
