Let's do modders a favor....

And be sure to check out the read-me's included with the mods that are done here. All of them usually come with decent one that explains what the mod is about and changes it makes, etc.

By doing this we could avoid repetitive questions ( and questions that don't need to be asked ) in the threads and give the folks out there who mod, more time to do exactly that, make great mods.

I think we owe them this much :yep:

Yeah, I know ^^^, but I think this has to be said from time to time. Maybe the Moderator's here can track ( I am kidding here, they have enough to do )
the repeat offenders and as punishment given them this one permanently :yep:

Or make them read this, it is more about posting, but you'll get the idea.
( saw this link from Monica Lewinsky ):

Just realized I am putting myself on the line with this thread :o I have done this a bit before myself.

We do but it has nothing to do with those that do not read the 'readme' files.

Simple request for those that install the mods offered. Read over the instructions. If you are still having problems then and only then ask the originator of the mod for assistance. The mod installer is must and makes life so much easier.

The FAQ nobody ever reads, or what it really means, is "the questions you shouldn't ask me"

RTFM

I agree %100. Coming from the Falcon 4 community I see alot of RTFM(read the f'ing manual) for questions that have been asked literaly a thousand times, such as #1 "how to turn on nose wheel steering". It uses up bandwidth and forum space. Read, then search is all we ask. If you cant find the answer then ask away. Remember, Google is your friend!!

crazy concept

Are you crazy? that is like reading the instructions or asking for directions! as most of the folks on here are guys what you are suggesting seems like an entirely alein concept to most of us.

Next you will be suggesting that we use the construction diagrams in our Ikea flat-packed furniture...:rotfl:
