When to change ports?
 

Hello again,
I received a radio message telling me that my new base of operations is Lorient. But when I go to the orders menu, it still says return to Wilhelmshaven.
Is it ok to go to Lorient at this time?

Go to , Wilhelmshaven because if you go to port designated in your massage you lose possibility to award your crew with medals and special abillities. It happened to me once ... and wasn't nice. :cry: You can allways change your home base, using that "telephone option" after completed patrol. And something else. It's usefull to read GWX manual for informations concerning real WWII campaigns included to SH3GWX. On that basis you will be able to deploy your men in the area where something interesting is going on, and get naturally more renown. I did it last time. I've change to La Spacia and involve in stopping Torch operation. Now I'm preparing for my 28 patrol. It's february 1943, so according to GWX manual I will have to wait several months to engage in operations against invasion of Sicily. Good luck to you, and happy hunting:up: .

if yer not sure then esc exit patrol. you go to the correct base instantly
