Question about JSGME
I'm messing around heavily with three files in JSGME mod folders, but i noticed that when i have disabled the mod files and take a look in the main data folder, the normal versions of the three files that i've been using just aren't there any more. That is to say, the unmodded files that are normally there and that should be restored when the mod i am using has been disabled, well, they seem to have vanished! The files in the mod folders are still there though.
Is this normal? thx |
hummm... never had that problem before .... anytime a mod is enabled the orginals are auto backed up and put into the Backup folder that you'll see in the MOD folder ( you can manually put them back maybe ) ..... of course I am just guessing of how the program works .....

To me, it sounds like at some stage you modified files while the mod was still enabled. Or deleted them. Look in your MODS\!BACKUP folder and see whether backup copies exist. If so, and you are sure that the files do not exist in the game, copy and rename them back into the appropriate mod folder and try again. |
Thanks for the reply! Yes, I think that must be the cause of it. It's not a big problem as I have about 30 copies of the relevant files here and there.
