Rubini's 8k stay alert mod in 16k GWX

I mistakenly added Rubini's GWX 8k stay alert mod (via JSGME, rolled back SH3cmdr first) into a 16k GWX 1.03 game. I didn't discover it until after three or four sessions. but since I've had no problems (so far) I left it in. Is this is diaster waiting to happen?

Also, I was patrolling just above France (1942), silent running, as there were two enemy ships, a destroyer and armed trawler in the area. I was watching TV, heard what sounded like static, turned down the TV, switched to outside cam view and smoke was pouring off the trawler and within a few seconds it sank. MY SO hadn't reported any subs in the area and I didn't hear or see any planes. What could've happened to the trawler? A fire aboard? Maybe Bernard joined the other side. :p

I've used it myself but I did disable the 16km version first :hmm:

Either due to weather or more likely a plane strike you just haven;t noticed whilst you were away.

Yes, most likely a plane. Some what later a couple attacked a torpedo boat. What caught my attention was the little rectangle that appears in the lower-left side. As you can see the weather's fine.
