I can not fire IXC Stern Torpedos anymore
 

I get to fire through the other fore tubes.

This happens after a mission when one of the tubes of the stern tube was "grey" without enabling me to load this tube. The other tube of the stern torpedo was loading.

In the following mission it stopped to fire, although the other tubes are firing normal.

The status of the stern torpedos states as "normal".

Anyone solved this problem? Please note me how!

Maybe I should redo the last mission.

Did you have crew in the aft torpedo room? (Simlpe question but some people forget)

Thank you for your attention and patience.

Yes, the crew is even full with torpedo technician as petty oficers.

But your tip was helpful. I am thinking I would like now to check some parameter of the sub or anything else using SH3 Mini Tweaker. Any tip where I could check?

is it possible you were out of internal reserve torpedos
and were trying to load external ones

if so you must be surfaced to do so
(for the entire process)
and also when you transfer a torpedo
from external storage to internal
you must put it into the storage
racks not the tubes

I dont know if this is the problem or not but
if it doesnt help it will at least eliminate a possiblity

I was also thinking that - you have to be surfaced, and it has to be calm weather to load external torpedoes.

Apart from that I can't think what the problem could be.

I could go back to some lessons, but I decided first to go further.

I have also put back the Weapaon Officer in the Command Room.

Problems were solved and also torpedo could be opened before firing.

Hope it serves anyone in the future.

Crew will not load torpedo's if you happen to be running in silent speed either... Learned that one a long time ago the hard way ...........

To fire the stern torpedos you need a does of E-lax for the crew:rotfl:
