i just completed my second patrol, which i was to do a recon of yokohama harbor, which i did complete. then on when i started my third patrol, my mission orders are exactly the same word for word. any one encounter this to? is their anyway to get around it?

I just had the same thing. Was ordered to do a recon of Osaka, did it, then was assigned to patrol of Honshu. Did that, ended patrol, and very next one, another order to recon Osaka again.

how long did you patrol Honshu before uthey star greyed out?

Every one I've done was 48 hours, but stay within 50 nm of middle of star. If in that 48 hours you do not get any tonnage don't go home or command will just send you back again ( or even a desk job http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...ing20hard1.gif shudder ). When you complete an objective radio in. As long as you have ordnance and fuel on board you will get new objectives. Complete them all and then RTB.

This should prevent recurring patrol objectives and early retirement.

Do not complete one objective and then go off frelancing or RTB. Sooner or later (usually sooner) you will be retired.

oh im sure they missed plenty. the pages they used for jap ship guide, did they really need them since there is a foldout one? or did someone at ubi not get the memo?
