Where is the Environment Mod ?

Is it stolen ?
Seriously, I cannot find the thread of Seeadler's Environment Mod 1.0 !:hmm:

Sturm 08-24-07 05:32 AM

Also the WIP thread is gone.

FooFighters 08-24-07 05:49 AM

Due to some small problems with the mod, it is postponed at the moment..
Seeadler is working on it to fix it !

Sturm 08-24-07 06:11 AM

But why the threads are deleted?

I was playing around with it last nite, mostly adjusting my graphics card settings, and something VERY weird happened that i'd never seen before. I won't go into detail unless i'm asked for troubleshooting etc., but i re-booted my PC and started a new campaign and the problem had gone away (theme song from "Twilight Zone"). I have no idea of the cause but i'm sure it'll be fixed soon. I think we kinda leaned on Seaddler too much to get him to release before he was really ready to. "We must learn patience Daniel-Sahn".:rotfl:

Yeah I noticed that the reflections of all ships in the surrounding water were messed up. My subs conning tower looked like a picket fence in the reflection, also anything above water when viewed from below the water was not right.

I've been playing with it all morning as his water is beautiful!!!!!!

The Sky boxes rule too!

The reflexion issue wasn 't a big problem. I fixed it with the minitweaker that I've used on his scene.dat.
If you like you can do it as well until Seeadler comes with the new version.

Apply those 4 values on the scene.dat:

Yeah I used the same fix, all reflections seem ok now :)

Oh yeah, it's all getting superb! I didn't even notice anything wrong with reflections etc.; all was going well but i musta got a corrupt save file or something; it kinda put the graphics in "stoopid" mode; the sky got almost black, everything looked weird, and it slowed to 2 FPS! And no matter what i did (loading other saves, starting new games, exiting and changing card settings, etc.) it wouldn't reset. Re-booted, started new game, it was fine. One of those things i guess but i don't think it had anything to do with the mod. But it's all reversable so i'll just keep playing with it and see what they come out with next!

Question for you WilhelmTell

When i try to enter values like number comma number (0,95) all that appears on the left after saving is the last whole number entered. Any ideas?

Edit: Uhhh, never mind; i guess it's supposed to a decimal, but for some reason in some posts it looks like a comma. Anyway, that's what the voices in my head tell me and i always do what they say. :88)

Don't worry. Please wait .I believe Seeadler is sure to finish his great MOD .

Hope to hear more on this soon. Really hope this wasn't scraped, looked like it had great promise.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that European notation uses the comma and decimal point in the reverse of what we do on this side of the pond. Kinda like the metric vs imperial thing.

I had no problems with the mod (other than the reflections that I fixed with WilhelmTells' solution : Thanks, WT:up: , BTW). Didn't get to play too long with it though.

This mod has seafoam texturing problems too. Look at the ocean when the wave state is high and you'll notice repetitive texturing thats probably not what Seeadler had in mind.

I guess he felt a little pressure to get it out. Hopefully all can be fixed soon, cause I REALLY like the seafoam
