How do I use the homing torpedoes
 

How do I actually get these things to track the intended target I dont know how thanks in advance

You have to set up a normal attack and fire them towards the target. Their homing is limited, you need to get them near the quarry.

ok i was just wondering. now where could i find how to edit the year it came out? i looked in the basic cfg file and everything there was from sh3. as well as every thing else in the cfg folder

First of all thanks to the captain who told me this some time ago, sorry forgot your name. All credit goes to you, any way some months back I raised this renown business why the heck should we use are renown and so on.

First thing back up your originals first and keep them safe.

Don't forget to back it up

To make this easy after you made your back up copy delete the contents and just copy all this lot and paste it in, what this has done you no longer use your renown to pay and you get all the torps on Jan 1st 1943. If you want all them even sooner where you see 1943-01-01 just change it.

this has been very helpful indeed! one question though, eairler it was said that the homing torp was the Mk29, i did not see it in the ammo notepad. am i missing something or could it be the Mk27? also on the homing issue, is it possiable to increse the range of the homer?
