How does one delete a career?

While many things are a step forward in SH4 it is perplexing how they tried to fix some things that were not broken.
One is the career thing.
You put in a nsme and where does it go?
You load a game and all careers are mixed together.
What was so wrong with separating them by name???
I can not even see how to delete a career.
Any clues how I can eliminate the dead captains?

I was going to say go out the office door, then I read your post. Now go to save games, there is an option to delete any save. Keep your last in base save, hope this helps,& is that which you asked. How are the hip shots coming.I think you can get there from one of books in office shelfs.

Thanks, I am amazed at how they did not explain even the simple task.
SH3 had many of these things easy to do and understand and why they changed it without explaining is a little strange, IMO

Hip shots are not coming that well. Even when I try and reset to zero there seems to be an unknown factor and surely at the wrong moment when pressed. I will keep trying

I was talking to my old gunsmith who had a friend in the US sub service and he did say their firing computers were ridiculously complicated to use so perhaps this reflects that frustration in reality.
