[REL] S-class torpedo shooting tutorial (No TDC!!)
 

I have written a tutorial for torpedo shooting in the S-class submarines in the historically correct way, i.e. without using the TDC (S Boats had no TDC). You will need however (Again as historically correct) the Submarine Attack Course Finder MK3, whose reverse side templates are also available at my filefront account (Links inside the tutorial), or any other a slide ruler or wiz-wheel that has a Sine scale.

Note that this tutorial will NOT describe how to get range, course or speed of the enemy vessel, it just explains how to set up your firing solutions without TDC, so you can aim properly your torpedoes. The tutorial just allows you to replace the TDC with the SACF MK3, as it was historically done, adding a great challenge to the game.

Nice, btw hitman. In your pdf for manual TDC at 100% realism. How do you get the length of the ship??? I can not for the life of me see it on the recognition manual! its got me completely stumped.
